Accessibility Statement
Hotel Zehnerkar GmbH
Hotel Zehnerkar GmbH is making efforts to ensure its website www.zehnerkar.at is accessible in accordance with the Federal Act on the Accessible Access to Websites and Mobile Applications of the Federal Government (Web Accessibility Act – WZG) BGBl. I. No. 59/2019 as amended, and the Federal Disability Equality Act (BGStG). This accessibility statement applies to www.zehnerkar.at.
Our Commitment
Our goal is to enable all website users—regardless of their individual needs—to have unrestricted access to our digital offerings.
Conformance with Requirements
Accessibility Measures Implemented
We have already implemented the following measures to improve accessibility:
Responsive web design: Our website is optimized for different output devices (smartphones, tablets, desktop computers). Content elements are automatically adjusted for best readability and adapted to the respective display size.
Keyboard navigation: The main menu can be operated via keyboard (Tab key, arrow keys). Interactive elements are reachable and usable via keyboard.
• The language of the page is declared in the markup
• The HTML markup used is standards‑compliant
• Headings are structured hierarchically
• Links have meaningful labels
• Sufficient color contrasts
• Support for screen readers
Non‑Accessible Content
The following content is not fully accessible for the reasons described:
1. Non‑conformities with accessibility requirements
- Texts and comprehensibility: We endeavor to write our texts largely without abbreviations and foreign words and to avoid complicated sentence constructions. If a text is not understandable, we ask for feedback.
- Contrast issues: Occasionally occurring contrast problems are mostly limited to small parts which do not impair the basic understanding of the website, cookie banners that appear over existing content, and external content from third‑party providers.
- Multimedia content: Not all videos have subtitles or audio descriptions.
- PDF documents: Older PDF documents may not be fully accessible.
- Third‑party content:Our website uses content and services from third parties (e.g. online booking systems). For these, full compliance with accessibility requirements cannot always be guaranteed because they are beyond our sphere of influence.
- Legacy content: Making all existing content, especially older PDF documents and multimedia content, fully compliant afterwards would represent a disproportionate effort.
- Content not falling under the scope of applicable legal provisions.
Spam protection / reCAPTCHA: To protect against spam and automated inquiries, we partially use reCAPTCHA functions in our contact forms. These are not fully accessible. - Alternative contact options are available:
