Booking Conditions

Room deposit:

 

Reservations are confirmed by acceptance of our quote. However, we politely ask for a deposit of € 400 per room.

We prefer cash payments. Of course, payment by EC card, Visa and Mastercard is also welcome! Otherwise, the general terms and conditions for the hotel industry apply./p>

Short stayalts

For short staysalt of up to 3 nights, we charge an additional € 15 per person and day.

Special requests

Unfortunately, we cannot confirm bookings for special room numbers, floors and tables in the dining room. We are happy to consider your requests and we will do our best to fulfil them!

Arrival and departure:

  • Your room will be available from 3 p.m. of the day of your arrival.
  • On the day of departure, we ask that you vacate your room and parking space by 10 a.m. at the latest.
  • 1 free parking space per room (garage space in Hotel Obertauern - parking space in Hotel Zehnerkar)
  • If you intend to arrive after 8:30 p.m., please let us know in advance so that we can provide you with a tasty Tauern snack.

Late check out

Would you like to spend the day in Obertauern on your departure day and start your journey home in the evening? At short notice, on request, you can stay in your room until 5:00 p.m., use our wellness area, have an afternoon treat in the restaurant and then start your journey home stress-free with your car still parked in our parking space. We are happy to provide you with a bathrobe and towels.

Cancellation conditions:

  • Cancellations must be made in writing.
  • In the event of cancellation, the Austrian Hotel Regulations apply.
    • Cancellations up to 3 months before arrival: free of charge / cancellations 3 months to 1 month before arrival: 40% of the total price payable / cancellations 1 month to 1 week before arrival: 70% of the total price payable / cancellations within the last week before arrival or trip interruption: 90% of the total amount payable
  • We therefore recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance! Take out a policy here: cancellation insurance. In addition to standard insurance, we offer Covid-19 illness protection. For more information, please contact us directly!
  • Refund warranty:

    In the event of a border or hotel closure or lockdown, you can cancel free of charge, even at short notice.

Other Information:

  • If you cancel dinner (at breakfast) we will refund € 7 per person per day.
  • Single room: Double rooms are available for single use with a supplement of € 80% for the absentee guest.
  • In the event of errors in correspondence, the current price list applies.
  • All our prices are exclusive of local tax. Adults and children aged 15 years and over are subject to local tax (€2 per person per day).
  • No pets allowed.
  • We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance.
